My name is Stefan Bleibinhaus and I am blogging on bleibinha.us/blog. As blog topics everything qualifies what is interesting for me or I think, someone else might be interested in. However most of the topics are about coding and IT related stuff. You can find an overview of the current topics covered in the Tags section.
The blog application itself is called scablo and is developed by myself. It uses an interesting technology stack and is open sourced under a BSD-style license at Github.
I am working for Bench as a Software Engineer using mostly Scala as my primary programming language. After graduating with a Master in Computer Science from the Technische Universität München I have been working and living in Germany, New Zealand and Canada. Currently I am living in Vancouver, BC.
Technology and especially programming have always fascinated me which is reflected by a lot of private projects I have been working on since young age. However most of them are not available to the public. The goal of this blog is to change that and make some of my work and ideas accessible. Another big point I want to achieve is to engage more with the community.
The photo below shows me in the middle of the beautiful rice terraces in Banaue, Philippines. As many Germans I am a big fan of travelling. In my case I particularly enjoy leaving the typical tourist spots and explore the country as backpacker. Due to a semester abroad at the National University of Singapore , I had the chance to experience a lot of SEA/Asia.
Another big interest of mine is engaging in a healthy and nature oriented lifestyle, including hiking and meditation. Apart from that, I am interested in making new contacts and friends all the time. So if you think we might click together, please contact me! See the contact widget on the sidebar for various options.
I hope you enjoy my blog! I would love to get some feedback from you!
